We collect information you provide to coordinate transportation, including your name, phone number, email address, pickup and destination addresses, requested dates and times, passenger details, and emergency-contact information.
You may also provide information about transportation eligibility, accessibility needs, guardian consent, or other arrangements needed for your ride. Please provide only information necessary for your request. Do not include military identification numbers, copies of identification documents, or detailed medical information in general website forms or text messages.
We may also collect communication preferences, SMS consent records, support requests, feedback, and limited technical information used to operate and protect our website.
How We Use Your Information
We use information to review ride requests, coordinate transportation, communicate with riders, assign drivers, provide service updates, address accessibility and safety needs, respond to questions, and maintain necessary operational records.
Submitting a ride request does not guarantee that transportation is available or confirmed.
How We Share Information
We may share information with authorized staff, volunteers, drivers, and service providers when necessary to coordinate transportation and operate our services. Drivers should receive only the information needed to carry out their assigned rides.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address an emergency or protect someone’s safety.
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that support delivery of the messaging service. Forge Forward Transit Foundation does not sell mobile information or use the ride-notification program for marketing.
Text Messages and SMS Consent
If you choose to receive text messages from Forge Forward Transit Foundation, messages may include booking confirmations, approval updates, driver assignment notices, pickup reminders, and ride-status updates. Message frequency varies based on booking activity, typically 1–5 messages per ride request. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not required to request transportation. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute SMS consent. Reply STOP to opt out. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or email forgeforwardtransitmain@forgeforwardtransit.com. The ride-notification program does not send marketing messages.
Retention & Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to coordinate services, maintain operational records, and meet applicable legal obligations. No website or messaging service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending sensitive identification or medical information by text message.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request corrections to your information, ask about deletion, or update your communication preferences. You can withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP. Opting out of text messages does not automatically cancel an existing ride request; contact us separately about ride changes.
Minors & Guardians
Transportation arrangements involving minors may require information and authorization from a parent or guardian. Provide information about a child only when you are authorized to do so and when it is necessary to arrange transportation.
Public Feedback and Testimonials
If you choose to submit feedback for public display, information you authorize us to publish may be visible to others. Do not include identification numbers, private addresses, medical details, or another person’s information without their permission.
