About Our Service
Forge Forward Transit Foundation coordinates nonprofit transportation support for service members and military families. These terms explain the use of our transportation request service and ride-notification text messages.
Ride Requests and Availability
Submitting a request does not confirm a ride. Transportation depends on staff approval, driver and vehicle availability, route eligibility, and safety considerations. Wait for explicit confirmation before relying on a ride.
Our normal service area includes Fort Riley, Junction City, and Manhattan, Kansas. Current operating hours, advance-notice requirements, and passenger limits are provided during the booking process.
Rider Responsibilities
Provide accurate contact information, pickup and destination details, passenger information, and any arrangements necessary for safe transportation. Be ready at the confirmed pickup time. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel a request.
Treat drivers, volunteers, staff, and other passengers respectfully. Wear seat belts and follow reasonable safety instructions. Drivers may decline or end a ride if conditions are unsafe or behavior is threatening, disruptive, or unlawful.
Minors and Guardians
Transportation for riders under 18 requires applicable parent or guardian authorization. Submitting a request does not replace any required guardian verification or safety arrangements.
Emergency Transportation
This service is not an emergency transportation service. Call 911 for emergencies. Do not use our booking form or text-message program to request emergency assistance.
SMS Terms
Program name: Forge Forward Transit Foundation Ride Notifications. By selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox on our ride-request form, you agree to receive transportation-related text messages from Forge Forward Transit Foundation at the phone number you provide.
Messages may include booking confirmations, staff approval updates, driver assignment notices, pickup reminders, cancellations, and ride-status updates. Message frequency varies based on booking activity, typically 1–5 messages per ride request. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting Out
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Opting out of text messages does not automatically cancel a ride request.
Service Eligibility
Our transportation services are exclusively available to active-duty service members, veterans, and military families. Users must provide valid military identification or documentation if requested to verify eligibility. Services are provided based on availability and strategic priority within our military logistics network.
Users agree to treat all drivers and volunteers with respect. Any form of harassment, illegal activity, or behavior that threatens the safety of the transport will result in immediate termination of service and potential permanent ban from the program. Users are responsible for being at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time.
